BrightOwl Zendala #22

I've been doing so many challenges lately that I haven't done any bright owl ones.  So I figured that I would do something different. I did the Zendala two different ways.  The challenge was a Monodala - using 1 tangle..so I chose paradox. I fell in love with the way this turned out.  I did it differently the first time, I did 3 tangles and just black and white.  The Monodala is blue with a easy background.  Here they are:

New to me and Diva Challenge #218

I decided to combine two challenges this week again. I like doing that it makes me feel more accomplished as well as pushes me to learn new tangles and expand my art.
This week Suzy Mosh's new to me challenge was the letter X, and the Diva's challenge was to do black on white or find a found object to tangle on.  I went with Black on white because i love the way it looks.

What a wonderful group of tangles this week on tickled to Tangle.
Most of them are new to me as well but I enjoyed trying them.  My goal was to make it look as if the Chocobox was popping out of the Cayke.  I would have to say that the Kandy Ribnz is one of my new favorites.

I started this tile digitally and of course I ended up not liking it.  So while watching the Italian job I did another one with pen and paper. I like this one much better. I did two versions. One with filters and one without.

Abc Challenge

I had some good fun with this tile....messing with the blending of colors in the background and the fun string.  I tried to keep things simple and have some empty space.  I'm happy with the results. I also played around with the filters and inverted the colors. I LOVE the results.

It's #100

This week has been long! The weekend even longer. But now it's almost over,  I've thrown an amazing birthday party (how I pulled that off I have no clue, but I did.) but now I have no Easter baskets....trust me ...the do not need the candy.  So here I sat up WAY past my bedtime finishing this Zendala from The Bright Owl Zendala Dare.
